JOSEPH PIERRE
In 1960, he was accepted into Wagner College in Staten Island, New York, where he minored in art and majored in education. It was approximately 1970, when Joseph returned to his art during a low period in his life. He found it enjoyable and rewarding, serving as a positive therapeutic outlet.
He enrolled in New Jersey City University and pursued the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Fine Arts degrees. During this period, Joseph joined a group of African-American artists, who displayed their art work at the Urban League Gallery in New York City. Later he displayed his art in varios libraries in New Jersey and in other venues.
Then came a long hiatus, when nothing artistic was done. Everything was devoted to his career in education, where he won outstanding awards in teaching and administration.
In 1995, Joe's interest in art was reignited when he was stressed with the added pressure of taking care of an ill mother. Painting, drawing and sculpture proved again, to be a positive outlet.
In 2004, Joseph, with his wife Pricscilla and mother moved to North Palm Beach, Florida. He enrolled in the Armory Art Center in West Palm Beach and The Lighthouse Art Studio in Tequesta, Florida.
From 2005, he as exhibited his work in the Lighthouse Gallery in Tequesta, Florida, where "Tears of Haiti" won "Best in the Show", along with monetary rewards. His "Sharecropper" also received honorable recognition at a later show. He has also show in Sag Harbor, New York and Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts.
Joseph's one man show in March 2011 at Art on Park Gallery in Lake Park Florida was quite successful. He has also exhibited his work in Sarasota, Florida at the Sarasota Art Center.
"Art is forever evolving, and one always learns something new", is his philosophy in art.

MARIE CARDI ETHERINGTON
My inspirations come from my daily experiences. I love capturing the moment and expressing the passion I feel. A breakfast of bacon and eggs, the first bloom of a Christmas amaryllis, a boat moving slowly past the dock on a warm misty morning, a curious cow, a grazing horse-if it speaks to me, I commit to it. Every painting has a story. Expressing color as form and painting on location and in the studio bring me great pleasure.
I draw my sense of color and space from my experiences manipulating threads in a four harness loom, creating floral designs for Henri Bendel's of NY and lecturing and serving as a Federated Garden Club Accredited Master Judge.
The late Terry Oakes Bourret, CT, John Traynor, NH and Hugh O'Neill, FL and Ireland, have been my mentors.
My work has been exhibited in juried shows at the Lyme Art Association and Clinton Art Society in CT, the Lighthouse Museum and Art Center and the Jupiter Medical Center in Florida. In 2016 I became an invited "elected" member of the Clinton Art Society. Private collectors from the east coast to west are enjoying some of my many works.

Two of my paintings Fresh Lettuce and FinDango were accepted in the Clinton Art Society 70th Annual Summer juried Exhibition —Main Street Clinton CT. The exhibition runs from July 18 to August 12, 2019.

SUZANNE FICO
My name is Suzanne Fico, and I am an artist based in Jupiter, Florida. Coming from a family of artists, my mother has been my inspiration. At age 15, I created my first oil painting, and I have been painting since 2003. My passion for art has driven me to pursue extensive studies, both past and present. I have furthered my education at the Lighthouse ArtCenter and Museum, taking classes from various instructors. While I primarily work with oil paints, I also use acrylics.
In addition to creating art, I have become an art instructor at various community facilities. My artwork has won first place at exhibits at the Lighthouse ArtCenter and Museum, and my oil paintings are featured in many homes across the United States. While I paint various subjects, I particularly excel in capturing the beauty of birds, which has garnered wide appeal.
My artwork is on display at my gallery located at the Artists Studios and Gallery, 222 South US Hwy 1, Tequesta, Florida.

JERRY OLIVER
solo shows and commissioned by the Arts Council of Illinois to paint a painting for their new college campus. Also she was one of the main artist picked by the City of Paducah, Ky to paint a children Alphabet and Art Book, P is for Paducah.
